100 Women Who Care of the North Shore is designed to make an immediate, direct, and positive impact on the lives of our neighbours.
We bring together 100+ women on Vancouver's North Shore (North and West Vancouver), who care about local community causes, for just one hour four times a year. At each quarterly meeting, we jointly select a local charity and each person donates $100 to the selected organization.
Our goal is to support the non-profit organizations that work at the grassroots level on Vancouver’s North Shore and in the surrounding communities.
-
The group meets four times a year (September, December, March, June).
-
Members join annually and sign a commitment to donate $100 at each of the four meetings (whether she attends or not) to be given to a selected charitable organization.
-
Meetings are conducted in one hour or less.
At just one meeting, watch how 100+ individual commitments turn into a minimum $10,000 donation for a worthy cause right here in our community. Do that four times a year and witness how over $40,000 can improve the lives of our neighbours when placed in the hands of those working to serve our community.
